Hey there thanks for your comments on the Sunburst. To get the affect I used spray stains, Deft sealer and black paint. The trick is not to rush, I did a number of very light coats and use sealer coats in between the colors. I have also seen it done using wash techniques. I was going for the relic look but you will need to use care if you are looking for that factory finish. You can't just sand the nut flush with the neck as an example...Let me know if you want more info on what I do. Nice place you have here. Take care - Jim
