Thanks Chris. I really didn't know what I was doing to tell the truth. I have never built a guitar before lol.but it did turn out very nice. or I think so anyway lol.It sounds incredible. I still have to install my sound holes though. That's probably when it will all turn to mush lol.I am gopijg to buiold one out of a real cigarbox soon. I have my box just trying to get some ideas rolling around in my head of how I want to do it lol.yhanks again for the comp.!!!
I don't have pictures yet... But I have a kid who'll get some on the computer for me when we get a chance. Thank you for the friend invitation. Expecting two feet of snow here in coastal Maryland friday night... Should have plenty of time in the shop to work on guitar projects over the weekend. : 0 )

Hi Chris... Thanks for the invite. Good to see another CBG hound here in the desert!
I will send today a record of my playing on the mad dog, I think it sounds good, but it's my first guitar I have in my whole life so I've been playing it only for 2 weeks. That's why I play bad :D
Hey there Chris! I'm going for a 3 string, kinda undecided about fretted or fret-less. Thinking about keeping it simple for the first build and then go from there, though I am thinking about making it electric too. Got a piece of left over oak flooring I'm gonna use for a neck and a nice, fat Primo del Rey Cazadores box that should give some good tone.
The amps are pretty complicated to describe how I made them Chris. I intend building a batch in a few weeks for sale then. I can let you know when I have some.
Hello,
The sardine can you refer to (I htink) is a Spam can resonator as required in the Holiday Spam off build contest. Take a look at the winner there, a fine build and a good sound.

Hi Chris,
Welcome to CBN!!!
The pics I have posted used a 1 x 2 x 36" piece of poplar from Home depot.
Most of my builds use wood scavenged from old furniture, dining room tables, chair, desks, etc.
The older the better, hard, dry and unlikely to warp under tension.
Maple is my favourite.
Keep me posted on how your build comes along, and let me know if you have any other questions,

This is it. Bad.... But I don't have any experience, I'm a harmonica player. I hope you like it.
I am glad you found the video useful.
Regards,
David
My first resonator is about two builds away. I'm planning on using the resonator that Back Porch Mojo sells.
