Hello,
I have started a CBN group entitled, "How to Play CBG" It is my hope and intention to encourage the "Wealth of Talent" here on the Nation to share their knowledge and skill to further the CBG movement. Please consider contributing an instructional "video" link to this group. If you are a viewer seeking instruction, please feel free to write. If you have any suggestions or know other players who you think may want to post instructional "video" links, please contact me. Thank you for your interest and support, Keni Lee

Thanks again, Pat!
You are always a great source of encouragement. You are right - that damn drum IS heavy! It's kind of a bitch to wriggle into (or out of) as well. AND I learned that I've got to have it on my back BEFORE I hook up the cables (clasp go onto eyebolts on my heels.) I was thinking that I might have to build some kind of stand for it that will hold it at the right level for smooth mounting and dismounting. The way it works now is NOT a visual that would be a very flattering part of a stage show . . . I look like a fat lady trying to get a bee out of her corset.

We need more Dirtbilly Jugnot Vids!!

Hey Pat,
I'm still searching for the Hobo. I'm sure she will turn up. I would like to get some more tunes done on her and burn a cd of all the tunes. I was listening to them on the Hobo Myspace and I'm just amazed everyime I listen to all the different styles and sounds from that simple guitar. Nick

It figures that a blues musician can't have an original idea. Thanks for the link. It's exactly what I was looking for the only customization I'll do on mine is to use jacks with a built-in normally open switch to cut power to the circuit when a cord is unplugged.

the long skinny cans were a experiment to see if i could get a metal sound out of the box, but it seemed to hinder the vibration of the top so i removed them they were easy to remove. the cans were cheap at the dollar store,$1.50 each and they have incense in them and a hardwood holder for the incense to burn on. the hardwood was worth the purchase. keep the cans keep the hardwood throw the incense away. the cans will come in handy later when i figure out how to apply them in a resonator model. i really like the resonator sound.
