wow mr paul that cowboy cigar box sold at over 113 bucks, and i thought it started kinda high bid at 10 bucks. gets kinda exciting to watch some of those cigar boxes go to 100 bucks or more. my next in line is a black veangence box that is kinda rare i was told. i found another just like it in texas that was with 3 other boxes and it was a buy it now deal so i ended up with two of the black veangence boxes. the first one i bought was about 15 bucks total with shipping,my most expensive buy so far i think. but it is in mint condition.

Hey,

Thanks for the comment on the bombadier instrument. This was a collaboration with the owner on an instrument he wanted built in memory and honor of his dad who was in the airforce on a B29. The sound holes were made to reflect the airforce wings pin his dad aquired during the war, and the B29 on the neck was an added touch to personalize the instrument more for him.

paul, the scroll saw is powered or can you use a jewelers hand saw? We have access to a power scroll saw but the blade seems too big to do fine details, maybe a different blade is what we need.
Any info appreciated, again, great job on thos guitars.

Thank you for your reply. LOL Don't worry that is the whole point of the group, to help viewers learn to play their creations. Please encourage other players you know to share their skills by posting an instructional video. Your effort is greatly appreciated. Enjoy.

What tool can you use to slice so small? A teeny tiny table saw?

Hey man, thanks for your comments again. On the subject of diddly bows.... build one!! They are quick, cheap and easy compared to guitars (I think anyway) and just as much (more?) fun!

Thank you for your best wishes. I'm really excited. You know, underground on the subway platforms I hope for rain. Brings people down to ride. Oddly, now for Times Square, I'm wishing for blue skies and wonderful weather. I guess, "I can't be satisfied". LOL Enjoy.

Hey Paul Doug. i used a dremel with a cutting bit to cut off the necks. i just kept scoring it until it came off. it takes patients but its worth it. And the neck of my cbg is made out of poplar with 3 coats of stain.

Hey Paul, on the t-bolt question, no... the threads don't bother the strings. I put a t-bolt on the backside as well for the string nut to catch on and where the string breaks out of the bolt on the top it's pretty smooth. Thanks for the comment. I have a question for you about ukes. Are you using a premade neck? and what are the scale lengths that you use for your ukes?
