At 3:34am on October 10, 2013, Ted Hartman said…: Rob, Thank you for the friendship, the tail piece is just a 2" aluminum angle iron that the upper 1.5"/1.75" is cut off...I then drill holes for the strings to go through at the 90 degree bent. and use a bolt with the head cut off for the bridge/saddle. it's works fine but I am sure it is not the best way to do it. I see so many creative people here on CBN that have much better ways of doing things. But this has worked for me for now, but I hope to try a different way of doing it soon.

I found out using the electric one, it cut deeper on one side than the other. So, use the hand miter saw and box; it takes longer but it cuts more even on both sides.

I used a electric mitre saw to cut strips, took a wood chisel to knock out the strips, then used a wood rasp to file it down. I will make a pic of the strips tomorrow before I knock them out with a wood chisel so you can see what I am talking about. I might not be explaining it very good. I am working on another neck.
