That was just beautiful! And you don't need to be ashamed of your singing - not at all.

Love your Trouble in Mind. Very nice picking and you're voice is just right on for this song.

Alyson, I really like "Trouble in Mind" -- both playing and singing capture the feel of that song really well.

I'm so glad that you are a blues fan. Although I play slide guitars as well as a bit of 'conventional' guitar and CBGs. I played bass for a band reunion last weekend, playing nothing but good old fashioned blues.
Nice to meet another fan.

Hello there Alyson. Nice to meet you and your invite to be a friend.
Do I see you playing a banjo there? You probably play a 5 string, I've got a very old tenor banjo that I will be making playable soon, (There are so many projects and so little time) and an ancient English Banjolele.

So, wishing you all the best.

Hi Alyson-

Welcome to the Nation! I see you have "Diddley Bows and Other Primitives" as one of your groups. This is my main interest, and if I can be of any help, let me know!

Best regards, Willie

Hi Alyson,
I am also a (UK) Newbie to the site although I have been renovating guitars for about 8 years and started on CBGs a couple of years ago after seeing one on youtube. I have yet to check out the whole site but the people are so friendly and helpful. Plus the sheer number of photos with new designs is simply mind blowing. I hope you enjoy the site as much as I have since joining. Welcome!
