I don't know what machine would be best to cut the slant angle on the headstock. I worked on my neck, box, and fretboard. I am going to take some pics before I go any further.

It was like it saying to me---do me first!!LOL I have been having a problem with keeping it tuned. Yesterday, I think I found out the problem. I placed the plastic tops of syringes in the string holes on the tail piece. The strings are cutting right through the plastic like butter. I need to replace the tops with metal gromlets which is not going to look as good as the red tops, but you can't have everything. My great idea of the tops didn't work. Oh well, try this, and if it doesn't work, try something else.

I was just wandering, I had forgot the measurement went from the bridge to the nut. By the way, how did you make that slant in your head stock? Did you angle cut it with a table saw? Very nice job.

At 4:25am on February 7, 2010, Wes "I'm Baaaaack" Yates said…: (cont) Sometimes I glue, sometimes I screw. Depends. If you glue, I would use hide or gelatine glue. Search Secrets of the CBG Undergound for 'Oyster Glue'. That's my miracle glue. This will come off if needed.
