Hey Mike,

I live here in Webster, NY and am looking for an alternative guitar player to join in a duo project.  I thought I would reach out to some of my fellow local CBN members to see if you, or someone you know, has any interest in a project like this..

If you are at all interested, there is a much better explanation of this project online at www.sweettmusic.webs.com

Peace,

Tracy

Hi Mike ! Sorry for the delay, was on the dutch isles whit the kids for some ray's and sea, it depends on how many strings, but yes the most builders that use standard Cigar boxes use some sort of support

You can adapt this for any given box, when you go above tree strings it is advised to do so, and even whit tree it gives more longlive for the CBG!  greeeeettsszzz  A.D.

hi mike, if your using the stewmac fret calc (which is the one i always use), ALWAYS always measure from nut to fret - just use the fret to fret measurement to check for accuracy.

Thank you Rusty for your comment. The melody line of this song and how the lyrics are phrased is very common. There are four songs that I know of that use the same melody. This song, You Got to Move (most are familiar with Fred McDowell's version that the Stones covered), Sitting On Top of the World (The Mississippi Sheiks), and Robert Johnson's Come On In My Kitchen. The idea of creating new songs with popular melodies is very common in the folk music world. Enjoy.
