We're only jealous mate cos you can play an instrument with 5 strings on it. Il stick to my diddly bows thanks. You should create a cigar box banjo group though - not someplace a long long way away, but right here at the nation. It would give us a most suitable place to take the piss :o)

Thanks for the comments , to be honest i quite enjoyed the distressing /bashing bit lol! - turned out pretty much as i pictured it in my head maybe a little better , feels real nice to play , i've also had Shane asking about one for him so thats good !
yes the article went down a storm with everyone great responce from all the guys - i was running out of comments to reply to them all lol! - no aint got around to framing it yet but i will do i bought 2 coppies , one for keeps and the other to be framed just need to make a frame (well you know me if i can make it i will why buy a frame hehe!)
getting closer to the Birmingham fest can' t wait even a couple of the guys are coming over from france !
should be a cool show - hope my guitars gonna be headlining with Hollowbelly that would just be the icing on the cake for me lol!

the Brass CB you mentioned may sound good , a lot of Resonator bodys are made from Bell Brass it gives them a nice ringing tone - sure you will let us know how you get on with it
