As it happens as soon as I mailed you I pulled it apart and wired a jack up - impatience is a virtue.

It works ok, but I find I have to be right up against the handset for the 'mic' to pick up any sound. Even sitting back just 10mm looses all sound. I can work that out though Im sure.

I guess you just run yours through a mild distirtion setting to get the crazy radio talk sound?

You may wonder at the sudden interest - well Iv just discovered chords, which means in theory I can play songs. Sadly I dont sing well so Im hoping a little distortion can disguise some of my shortcomings - maybe Il talk through the songs rather than sing them!

Maybe Il dig out my old copy of Cubase and start doing a bit. Just need an extra 3 hours in each day!
