"The King" 4-String Pro

These are some of the finest cigar box guitars I've ever built. "The King" is a 4-string model with a blues-laden Lipstick Tube pickup (just like old Silvertones and Danelectros). Each is strung for a grinding Open E tuning and has fret markers on the side of the neck for ease of playing.
I've added three more of these to the store this week. One features a salvaged wooden 7-Up advertisement as the fretboard. The other two have gorgeous exotic wood fretboards that were made by fellow cigar box luthier, Mike Orr. Shop the selection of "The King" guitars. The Octavia Olivia: a one-of-a-kind "octave chugger"
After I finished all of the guitars I had planned for the Holiday Season, I took a look around my woodshop at the remaining parts: An unfinished neck from the summer tour season. An oak fretboard. A golden cigar box with a beautiful Spanish lady on the art.
Cobbled together, these remaining pieces became a uniquely amazing instrument I call the Octavia Olivia. It's set up like my 2-string Chugger cigar box guitars, but it has an additional octave string on the lower note. This gives it a more lush sound, similar to an octave mandolin.
