Building a cigar box fiddle

My first attempt to build a Cigar Box Fiddle. I would like to craft everything myself, even the fingerboard. Hopefully the sound justifies the effort..

Comment by Elmar Zeilhofer on April 23, 2012 at 12:59pm: thanks Del, the build is progressing. I try to adjust the bridge shape with different plywood samples. Once ot's alright, I laser-cut the final bridge from kinda plum wood.

The strings are normal 010 guitar strings. The scale of a violin is half the scale of a guiter. I therefore use the A string (tuned to G), the D, the b string (tuned to a) and the e string.
