Yes, it's a small pan/skillet 8" x 1.5" made of aluminum. The bridge is a steel screw on top of a Red Oak bridge block, piezo is on the bottom under the block area. The stop tail claw is from a old Harmony guitar that was in my parts bin.

I put a round piezo on the bottom of a aluminum skillet for my Strat-O-Rez guitar. Sounds great and the aluminum skillet took away the 60 cycle hum from the pickups.

Yep thats what the engeneer was doing whit that ,

THAT WHY I PUT MY SHADOW DIRECTLY UNDERNEETH THE BRIDGE OF THE DOGBOWL, AND IT GIVES THE METAL KIND SOUND YOU EXSPECT FROM A METAL REZO, SO EXSTRA PIEZO ON THE BOX OR A HUMBUCKER UNDER THE STRINGS CAN GIVE THE SAME EFFECT! I STILL DONT KNOW THE PRICE , AND I DID SEE THE jOHN wALCH VIDEO WHERE HE ENDORSES HIS LOVE FOR dEUSENBERG, AND THEY DONT COME CHEAP !!

They are expensive Andries, but Duesenberg makes excellent guitars and I'm sure you'll love yours. Joe Walsh is a big fan of Duesenberg Guitars and owns several.

That putty knife blade under the bridge video was cool. It gave me a hacking idea for my own purposes, because I have to live on a very tight budget. Haha The only way to get something I want is to build it myself and it's more fun that way too.

The Neodymium magnets for the Reso Pickup makes perfect sense to me for that application, a magnet type can give a lot of influence in tone. Two piezo's in the bridge makes sense because the disc type piezo has that tinny sound you would expect from a Dobro/Metal Reso.

So I need to make one of these and also put a rod piezo in the neck pocket so I can have Acoustic guitar tone too. You know, one guitar to cover all the bases. ;)
