Hey Folks,
I have been away for a while due to health issues. I dropped off the map without notice and regret not being able keep in touch. Anyway, I am back on my feet looking forward to catching up with all of you.

Thanks to my buddy "cigar bill" for the box you sent while I was down.

Thank to Jilly for helping my family when I could not.

And Thank you to Tony - So sory I lost touch with you...I will more than make it up to you for all of your inconvenience and frustration. Only an extreme circumstance could keep me away from my shop and my customers. My wife tried to reach everyone when I got sick but did not reach you due to you not being in my shop adress book.
I will try to reach you but will understand if you do not reply. I will send your box out as soon as I get back into my shop in a week or so.

Shane

Tony,
I will check paypal, thank you.
You would not be putting me out by having me fix...whatever you truly want to do is fine with me brother!
I will give you a ring tomorrow afternoon to discuss options.
Thanks again,
Shane

OK Tony sorry you are having issues, lets see what we can do here to make it right. Considering we did not have that issue when testing it, I would say somthing is failing, a ground wire (rare) or a pot that got too hot and is now allowing positive to seep through. We have never had a ground wire failure, but theres always a first. Some simple tests would diagnose this fairly quickly, we just have to decide how to get it done with the least impact to you. If you want to ship it back to me at my cost, I will fix it and can also send you a loaner in the meantime. If you want to fix this, I can help you get it done, they are fairly simple machines so to speak. If you have a trusted guitar tech near you, I can cover cost of the testing and repair.
I am assuming you used a good cord but please try another one just to be sure and so we can eliminate that as a cause. let me know how you want to move forward.
Thanks Tony,
Shane

Tony,
IS the hum present at all tone and volume settings on the guitar? Also, does the hum cancel out when you touch the strings or output jack?

Tony,
Glad to hear you got the guitars and are happily exploring their capabilities. Regarding the cohiba, to get the intended effect, you must play it through a small bass amp with low tone on 10 and mid and high on 2 - 4. Sounds strange but try it like that before you change anything out. It is spooky as hell with that setup. also, you can move the transducer around to test different sounds. Call me this weekend and we can talk. I have been real busy on a big landscape job this week but will be in and out this weekend.
Have fun and thank again,
Shane

Tony,
Your guitars should arrive today or tomorrow. I have another smaller package I will mail later this week. Please call me when you receive your new guitars. Dust off your favorite tube amp and blast out the neighborhood!
