Hi Nathan,

That is a great idea using the different types of wood they floor boards. They would be a solid wood I would think? You can sand them thinner to if you wish for possible a different resonance. You have enough material to make a lot of Cigar Box Guitars. CAn you make me one? I know there is so much amazaing informaton on how to build your self. I am handy with wood and things but I do my best to keep teaching and a little bit of studio work for my bread and butter. It would be great to have a Cigar Box made by someone like you that has already done it before and Therfore I wont do it and make mistakes and I can benifit from the mistakes you have made that now allow you to make a good Cigar Box. I also like the resonator sound with the cone but some say they put it in and regret it. I do play resonator guitar 6 string but would love to get into the 4 string style.
