sure is addictive . and yes it,s hard to sleep thinking of new builds.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I am definatly going to try steel string and a different bridge, And yes Uncle John, my next build is a longer scale, I thought a tenor uke 17inch scale. This is so addictive, it keeps me awake thinking about my next builds and how to fix the "stuff ups" lol..much fun, cheers

yeh I made a biscuit tin uke /banjo  and ended up making a timber bridge .try a different sort of bridge.Hey but they look so cool .I used lite acoustic steel strings they take forever to stay in tune but worth the wait.

I made 3 ukes, two from an old wooden cookie canister and one from a choclate tin, the have the resonance of a brick. so as someone suggested I am going to try banjo strings on them> Any ideas?
