Thanks Uncle John! No, I haven't tried other tunings, but I'm not much of a uke player. My twin sister mastered it years ago and she is a remarkable ukulele player, but I tend to stick to my cbg and banjo. Both of those are tuned to G, so I will have to try a low G on a uke and see what is sounds like!

Great looking necks and projects.  Smart to wear some ear protection.  Have you tried low G tuning on ukes?  I like it.  More guitar like.
