Uncle John, my son that can really play guitar suggested on build#1 that the tuners should all rotate the same direction (either toward or away from the neck) to keep from frustrating players. Not that there are any rules. ;-) I'm not sure I've always heeded his advice! But this one does.

I do like how 'clean' this one looks; thanks! And for the record - - round toothpick frets!

It is.  Simple enough, pretty and a bit ornate.  Looks like the strings line up well too.  I'm always kind of pleased to see a good builder like you string up to a tuner on the 'wrong side'.   It's a CBG.  do what works best.

Hunh.  What are those frets?
