Cool design, having the strings held by the cover plate.  I have been looking at Republic guitars for a while, they are getting great reviews.  I understand that if you mention Keni Lee Burgess when you purchase from Republic, you get a free Keni Lee CD.  Sorry for stealing this thread Michael, I got carried away.  Fantastic build.

Hey are the strings held by the cover plate? If so did you have to reinforce the coverplate somehow to keep the string tension from pulling it out?
