Comment by norman moody on July 29, 2011 at 11:58am: Linseed will penetrate and cure with its exothermic reaction. Most folks tell me to Linseed the neck on my vintage uke. Be careful. It can start burning in a trashcan or like just from the oil in some rags! Beauty . Keep playin it. My Magnatone is finished after an extended stay at the tube Dr. I will post a vid as soon as I get computer issue resolved. Thanks for sharing!

Comment by norman moody on July 29, 2011 at 9:46am: Birds eye maple. Very good tone and wonderful the more lacquer you put on the deeper the birds eye looks. Very nice axe! Linseed or danish oil..... appears to be a really nice cigar box, I bet jus rips with that pick up.
