I have many guitars, many that I built, but for my first Cigar Box I decided to order this one.

Gilles - good strategy.  I got my first as a kit from my son, which was fretless.  I then ordered one with frets and a piezo pickup, to have that option for playing, too.  Then I started building.  I'm working on numbers 33 and 34 right now.  These babies are addictive!  Welcome to the Nation!

Sure... I just wanted to have one quicker while I can decide on how and what I will use to build it.
I played slide in open E many years and was taking a break from playing.
I need to decide how I can switch to a Cigar Box and practice before I begin to build one.

Nice.  I hope you try making your own too.
