Thanks for the encouraging comments Kale! I’m more of a techie at heart than a woodworker. But I do like the look of wood and the simplicity of CBGs. I stay away from the toxic exotic stuff though. 3D printing is a way for me to be creative and experiment, and then easily recreate stuff I like without all the work. I try to keep the look simple and yet unique. The drilling guide I 3D printed allows me to get this sound holes look without any measuring. I just tape down the guide and drill the holes with a hand drill. Quick and easy. When I get bored with this pattern I’ll try something else.

Thanks for the kind words Uncle John! Picked up the box recently at an antique store, not an antique and overpriced, but … it had a very thin bottom, so I had to have it. Was not disappointed.
