The neck was from a £5 eBay pickup
Prob china?
Think it said 1959 fender on under the pickups ,but I sanded it off
before I gave it to Diglydog ...lol

Thanks Bug and Steve.  I find Strat-type necks OK because they just screw onto a flat plank.  After a nightmare getting the action right on my first Strat-necked 6-stringer, I tool a lot of time getting the level of the bridge right on this one.  The action's a bit high, but playable enough.  If I wanted it lower, I could easily chuck a 2mm shim under the neck.
