And for Jim_in_Tucson, I just tried the brass corners on it and you are right, no need for them. It looks better without them.

No, it's one of my homemade guitars that I took out from under the bed to get it back in shape after too many years withoutnbeing played.

I stopped playing for many years and I had so much fun trying my first ECG that I realised that I was missing playing guitar...

Well... I still need to add the pickup, and brass corners (still not sure...).

But the pickup will go very well with with your mention. No cover so you see the windings, a small wooden frame, and a great sound.
