Bass. Slight buzz from the strings. Any suggestions on how to solve this? I routed a grove in the neck and hot glued a 1/4" steel rod and covered it with a 1/4 by 2" oak board to keep the 30" scale neck from bowing. It's kinda heavy.

Buzzing can be tricky. I would do similar to what you did on the head stock. Just possibly, that hinge tail piece is bit lacking on down pressure on the bridge??
