Hey Dano, I used clear 2" tape on the front, and electrical tape on the back. You need to gently sand the coating off the ends of the wire. After I soldered the 2 wires, I folded them across the back of the pickup, and taped it with electrical tape. Also, if you drill holes in the pickup for screws, do it before you start winding or the shavings will never let go of the magnets.

Hey,Rick.  Finally ready to get winding... Just a  last question: I'm guessing you did not pot this, but did you wrap it in cellophane tape or what,  it looks like it has a covering? I'm thinking I need something to hold the wrapped wire in place after it is done, and maybe add some protection - suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Hey Darryl, I think it was a 9volt. It was kind of a small one. I'll make a video, I need a few parts from Gitty to finish it.

how many volts was the walwart? i've heard that 9volts is minumum you should go, and 12 is a good number...planning on attemoting to make one myself

Nice, Rick! Looks clean and professional. Hummingbird sound holes for a humbucker are a nice touch.
