Google the name Strohviol and see if that isn't the critter you're talking about.  If you check my photos you'll see my attempt at a CBG version.  Mixed results.

Now that's something!! My sister used to have an antique stringed instrument, I think with a bow, that was attached to a car horn. I can remember it had Russian or Ukranian or something stamped on it- it sounded really eerie, but way cool! Are you making her into a guitar, or is it for an amp?
