Dual pickups (lipstick and a mini humbucker) blend pot with volume control. A 25" scale length and a specially prepared fretboard for slide work (fretting notes while not knocking frets).

Just opened it up a few minutes ago and I'm completely blown away! Won't take long getting used to this one.

Chris, this is just outstanding work!

Yeah Hound, the Lipstick is loud and proud with a lively jangle to it! The Humbucker is warmer and more tamed. I actually like a 50/50 mix for sound the best (but that's my ear). I think it's all going to boil down to the the individual sound of the song for your adjustments.

It's Christmas in April. So love the look of it and with two pickups I won't know what to do with myself. Never had a build with a true bridge pickup before let alone two.

Heading down to the PO in a few hours.  Saw the post master at dinner last night (it's a small town). She said it should be processed by 11 if it showed up today.

Yeah this was just an experiment at first, but then when I lit her up I got major chills and "goosebumps" when I put the slide to her! So I wanted to send it someone who could truly make some serious music out of it.

Well it looks amazing Chris. Hopefully Mr. Slowhound will post a vid or two so we can hear it!

Sounds great. I would love to make a hubcap guitar at some point. I've always loved how they look and sound.

Yeah Albert ... I've used those old pie tins on the backside of my Hubcap builds ... Check this video out ...

Nice! My brother and I have an old pie pan build called "the panjo" in the works but it won't look nearly as good as this. Brilliant work!
