Diddley bow v 2.0

Reply to a question by Andries D. Eker: You are right, my pup is rather thick. The magnet is 12 x 4 mm and the overall thickness is about 7 or 8 mm. This was my first pup attempt that worked. I used a thicker kind of wire from a wall transformer and wound it by hand. I tried sealing it up with brushed on coats of polyurethane, but had trouble with it sticking to the metal... Finally wrapped it with electrical tape and put it on a diddley bow that I had a piezo in - sound is so much better now, just not real pretty! Really glad I tried to make the pup - not sure I'll make too many more... so many other ideas!
