Thanks Jerry. I used an iron to apply the edge banding to the sides.The body shape came from a pattern I found and printed out of Brian May's Red Special guitar. I copied the headstock shape as well.

super interesting.,,.did you steam the sides?. looks like a Gibson, but reminds me of a Dano too.,.,
