Kalimba Upgrade

Last September I gave my wife a kalimba that I had put together from a kit from Gitty. She loves the way it sounds acoustically but the single piezo disc did not do the trick and had an annoying hum. So, I recently bought a couple of Flatpup Humbuckers from Elmar Zeilhofer. He suggest that I do a test before mounting the humbuckers under the tines of the kalimba, which I did this morning - and it sounded great in a test. So, now I am glueing both Flatpups onto a slab of wood to position under the tines permanently.
