Even better that you kind of fulfilled your Martin wish and used the interesting materials.   Poplar!   I am a Martin fan, but no longer  have one.  Like to play my 3 strings...   But I do kind of wish for an 000.

Thank you, I've always liked that D35 back. The Poplar on this one came from a salvaged 1950's Kinseman Organ, and the Cedar is from a 35 year old fence post.

Wow!  Wonderful work and detail.  that neck is magnificent.  It's funny for me that I admire a beautiful git back, but for ones I build, own, or play, plain jane is dandy.
