Well, true on the not so expensive and plentiful reso cones.   I've liked some Lowes. 

 

But there is some added coolness using a dog bowl, makes em' howl.   Trully some of them sound great and I suspect with this good construction that it will sound good.

Thanks John leaning toward making it a three string as I don't have a 3 string reso. This is the last of the pet bowls seeing how there are so many cheap reso cones out there now. Just got to find a good one.

thanks Gary have not used these boxes before the inside body will be flush to the top and it will have a bolt on neck

Beware of the MDF top on the Lost City box.  I replaced mine with a good grade of Plywood to make it sound good.
