DIY flat pickup

I did this an a whim. This a wallwart type . I used proper pickup wire that I had,42ga.I tested it and it's loud.I'm gonna use it on my next one.

Comment by Rick Alexander on June 26, 2016 at 4:02pm: This thing is just a piece of tin cut from an Altoid tin, 3 magnets stuck in the center, then wrapped in opposite directions on each side of the magnets. It's not too pretty, but it sounds good. It's plenty loud, and didn't hum or squeal when I tested it.
