Comment by Don Goguen on March 26, 2011 at 7:50am: I'm using a magnet that is .250" and the bobbin is .020" X 2. The brass cover is .010" and I solder a bottom onto it that is also .010". This makes the total .310". It is not the thinness winner but I was focusing on sound first.
