Kevin, those are both far prettier and more so fisticated than mine. The bowing is HARD to get going. I was doing pretty fair on a flat finger board two string, but I needed a third string because I could not reach the higher notes with the 2 string. The new 3 is still easier to bow than a 4. I kind of have 3 bowing positions up and down for the small string, saw flat across for the middle and 'down and up' for the big string.

I need to fashion a shoulder rest or retainer.

How was Clarksdale and the Buddy Holly Airline? I hope you had fun.
