Concert scale ukulele. I removed the Ashton cigar label and spray painted on a red hibiscus flower using a template I made from ordinary freezer paper. Once I saw how nicely the flower looked I decided that I had to cut the sound holes in the shape of the Hawaiian Islands. The neck is poplar with a red oak fretboard bridge and tailpiece. The nut and saddle are striped ebony. Piezo pickup. Reentrant tuning (gCEA)

"Champagne" eh, Richey?  I'll have to scout around for some suitable paint and try that.  I bet it would really pop on a black box.

Wow.  All nice, but the island soundholes.... wow.
