2015 Fingerboards

Thanks to my friend Jim, and his planer and drum sander, after cutting and resawing we salvaged a twisted maple plank, and some scrap mahogany, to produce a few fingerboards. Thank you Jim!

Comment by Joe Caruso on February 9, 2015 at 11:32am: Thanks - Yep - solved my fretboard supply problem - now if I can get something other than oak for the body - oak holds up ok but it always yields a few surprises when I'm shaping - always seems to be a soft spot where more than you want comes off
