I made my own out of maple (banjo style) with a bone insert.  It was a lot prettier at first, but I had to cut down

the feet on the bridge to get the action down to where I wanted it.   I like a wooden bridge with a bone saddle.

but this is my preference, as I play a few of my spanish guitars that have wooden bridges with bone saddles.

although my electrics (3 handmade) have metal bridges Gibson style.

I will one day have to learn a bit more about the electrical side of this.  What have you used for a bridge?
