It's finally done!. I have a coworker and good friend that I've worked with for 28 years. Today was his last day and he'll start his new life as a retiree. I hope he enjoys every minute of it. As a gift, I made him this Harley Davidson theme guitar. It features a hand made cherry box with spline joint corners. The neck and fretboard are black walnut, found as a leftover board from a home office project from 75 years ago. The nut and the bridge are solid brass. Fret markers are maple and the side dots are bamboo. The sound hole features a Harley horn cover. There are a few other Harley parts, such as the ones I used as strap buttons. Imagine the miles some of these parts have seen!
