Yup.  You never know how they are going to play or sound till you string them up.  On that topic, I changed the strings and tuning on one of my faves from DGBE to GDGB.  It went from very good to C R A P.   Gonna have to change it back.

hey John...yeah coming pretty cool for just a prototype.....plans on the next one...bigger hand drum, probably a 10", this one is an 8". Plus thinking of doing a 6 stringer. But first lets see how this performs.

Looking good.  Love that deep color on the fret board and the finish.  I think that one might be a good one to call the Jersey Devil.
