30" Short-Scale Bass with LaCuesta "Ambassador" display case for body, 1960's Vox-style neck and cello-inspired headstock. I'll be making my own "doodle bass" strings with grommet ball-ends. Fishman MKAB bass piezo and preamp will be fitted.

Thanks for the encouragement! I am refinishing the box, and managed to keep the brand on top, when polishing off the brown paint.

If I spot another such box on fleabay, I'll alert folks on the Bass Bass forum here.

I really want to see this beauty when it's done! It should sound great with that big box. I know it's hard finding a box that big for a bass.
