AGP #159 - “Les Grand Vins”
(3 String CBG)
Scale : 648mm / 25½inches
Strings : .046NW / .036NW / .026NW /
Tuning : ???
The body is a $5 Pine Wine Crate from a local charity store, this was cut down to abt 60mm deep, and the off cuts used to make the back, the neck, fretboard & bridge are recycled piano timber coated with 50/50 Linseed Oil & Turps, an Ebay (Chinese) Gold Foil Pickup in the neck position, and a Rod Piezo is sandwiched between the underside of the box top and the neck, they are wired to: individual Volume Pots→3 Way Pickup Switch→Output Jack.
As one would expect the sounds vary a lot depending on the choice of the combination of Tunings, Pickup selections & Volumes, a very different sounding CBG from what I've built previously.
