Forgot to mention that this design was "inspired" by the Chapman Stick bridges that I have seen. I just changed the design so that I only needed one slot and there are locating channels underneath to keep them in line. there is a good picture here: https://goo.gl/images/AH218K

Thanks for the comment. I've stopped for the moment, but intend to get back to it in the future. Got very much into playing large mandolins both in folk music and particularly in classical ensembles. So much to learn it is taking all my free time at the moment. I still have lots of wood and cigar boxes so will get back to it at some point I'm sure.

Love the Art Deco look of that bridge plate! Those adjustable ebony saddles are very cool too. I'm getting some really good inspiration and ideas looking through your photos. Thank you. :)
