40th refinish

40th refinish

I made this 40 years ago my 9th grade finals project. the bottom right miter was coming loose so I thought if I glued the bad joints and added a 1/4in. oak ply backboard and fresh coat of nitro that it might make it to another 40

Aha, RTZ.  It appears you have a checkered past.   How is it tuned?  

Very nice, RTZ.  Pretty woods and a good job.  I have one that was gifted to me.   I still play some chess on my tablet and listen to Pandora at the same time.  I was thinking about you earlier today and I hope all is well.
