Comment by Blacktooth Hopkins on June 6, 2014 at 6:33pm: Must give credit where it's due, I totally stole the ruler idea from Swamp Witch (anonymous pick). I tried one of the piezo/bridge pups first, but wasn't totally happy with the sound so I reworked it with the single coil from CB Gitty. At that point, the ruler thing just looks too damn cool and functions perfectly. You can adjust the bridge height based on the thickness of what you use as a shim too...set it up for fretting the strings or raise it a little for smooth sliding (my preference).
