Thanks Jerry,

Nope, no truss rod. I made the neck out of red oak instead of poplar I normally use for CBG's, so it's good and sturdy. I also used light gauge bass strings. Tuning it up, the tension seems to be fine. So far, so good. Now I just have to figure out how to play the thing.
