Head stock is cut back about 1/2" to avoid need for a screw to pull down the strings over the nut.
The nut and the floating bridge are both bolts.
The action is about 2mm above the first fret and 3mm above the 12th - the lowest I could set without having buzzing from frets at the high end.
The sustain and tonality are far better than my first dull-sounding CBG, possibly because of the relatively large box 10"x13"x2.5" (external dim), using 0.5" plywood sides and 1/4" plywood back and front faces.
