The cigar box for this license plate guitar is cut out under most of the plate.  It has 3 piezo pickups.  One on the plate near the bridge and another one on the plate at the neck and one on the wood of the box at the neck.  The 3-way switch selects either the 2 neck pickups or all 3 or just the bridge pickup.
