So, the scroll is assembled from component parts. I thought it was carved. Hmmm... that makes it seem more doable. I'll have to give the process some more thought.

if i look, i think i have upwards of 8 bags, at 4 per bag. I was going to make 2 18 wheelers for my 2 boys. I also have the maple axle pegs for them

Thanks, guys. I get to work on this an hour or two a week - so it moves slow. I was travelling for the last four weeks, and my jones to build/play was pretty strong.

I found the wheels by accident in a craft shop. There weren't the right sizes available for me - so a quick peek on Amazon turned up these ones.

A bag full? Let's say I can make a few mistakes and will have plenty others for trying again. :-)

Huh, I have a few bags of those large wheels only they are double for building tractor trailer.
